District administrative representatives
participate in regional, state, and national job fairs throughout
the year in order to attract and select highly qualified and
experienced professional educators for the Duncanville ISD. An
extensive recruitment program is conducted throughout the school
year from October through May.
Near the end of the college recruitment season a district job fair is held on the campus of Duncanville High School. The Job Fair is designed to attract all levels of teaching applicants. All district administrators as well as selected teachers are available throughout the day for interviewing of potential candidates. Business leaders and volunteers also lend support and assistance, as pride in the school district unites the community. The event has the reputation of being the best job fair in the metroplex and has attracted over 500 potential candidates for consideration annually.
The 13th Annual Teacher Job Fair will be held on Saturday, April
17, 2010 from 8:30 am to 12 noon at Duncanville High School, 900 W. Camp Wisdom Duncanville, TX 75116. The Job Fair will be held on the Main Campus in the lobby area in front of the cafeteria. Please enter through the main High School entrance on Camp Wisdom Rd. (signs will be posted).
Interviews will be scheduled on the day of the Job Fair, beginning at 8:30 am. No pre-registration is required; however, those who wish to be interviewed should complete an online application before attending the Job Fair.
